Is it possible to redirect URL from chrome to IE?

I have a scenario where I have to redirect the user from chrome to IE.

I tried,

1. ActiveXObject - It is not working with chrome.
2. Register in local group policy editor - not possible to do in all client's machine
3. Edge - I'm able to achieve using micorosft-edge:url, why not able to do like this in IE?
4. System.Process - It is working but it is a server side code so no use of implementing this.

So first of all is it possible to redirect the user from chrome to IE, if so what is the way to achieve it?

Please guide me on this.
